# Introduction

Aptomingos is an NFT collection of 1212 pixelated flamingos on the Aptos blockchain.\
\
If we had to sum up everything into a few words, we would say that the things we are focusing on are: **community, exclusivity, alpha and education.**\
\
The core values of Aptomingos are **honesty and transparency between founders and investors**, an ideology that we think is usually skipped out on in this space.\
\
The goal of Aptomingos is to create a community of like-minded people interested in the Aptos ecosystem. A place where we can share information, lessons and ideas. We really want to solidify our community is one of the OGs of Aptos. A community that newcomers as well as veteran investors can look up to.\
\
We are a tight-knit group of traders with collective experience spanning over a few years in the NFT/Crypto space. We are not developers. We are not digital artists. We are not professional marketers. But we are doing everything on our own and learning as we go. Before Aptos, most of us have been focusing on SOL and ETH. When you get to live through an ecosystem in real-time, you learn a thing or two about different projects, founders, how to market your product, red flags to look out for and so forth. We're hoping to create a community where we can collectively learn about the Aptos ecosystem together and use the knowledge and lessons we have acquired over the years to gain a significant advantage as early investors.\
\
There will be a lot of educational content in our Discord. After holder verification is set up, a new category will emerge called "order of the flamingo". In this category we will share daily lessons, tips and tricks, how to identify red flags in a project, alpha on Aptos, SOL and ETH, and of course giveaways. To not overload you with information, this will be done gradually over time. This project is also supposed to act as a proof-of-concept for us. This is basically a stepping stone into bigger and more advanced things, but more on that way later down the road. This is also a learning experience for us. There will be errors and misunderstandings but hopefully **LOTS** of knowledge to take away from this project.\
\
Upon reading this gitbook, we're hoping you will get a better understanding of our values, vision and direction.<br>
